Description
Furnace House, also known as Ty Furnace, is a two-storey house with an attic, featuring painted roughcast plastered walls and a slated eaves roof with brick end stacks. The front has three windows, with two rectangular bay windows on the ground floor, likely from the early 20th century, which have brick bases and consist of 3-light windows at the front and single lights on the sides. A corniced flat roof extends over the door, which is boarded. On the first floor, there are three 20th-century metal windows with thin slate sills. The eaves are plaster coved, and there are three catslide dormers with 20th-century single-pane glazing. Additionally, there is a lower parallel range added to the rear.
