Description
Cefn-crwth is a two-storey house featuring a roughcast exterior, a slate close-eaved roof, and red brick end stacks. The front has three windows, which include a mix of 4-pane and 12-pane sashes, with a 20th-century glazed door in the center. The left end wall is slate-hung. At the rear, there is an outshut with one window in the end wall above an older range.
The older range to the right is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone and has a thatched roof covered with corrugated iron, featuring thick boarded eaves. There is a stone square chimney at the right end. The left side has one 4-pane sash window under the eaves and another 4-pane sash window on the ground floor further to the left. The entrance is located in the right end wall and has a 20th-century door. The rear outshut has a corrugated iron roof that does not extend over the thatch, with a door in the end wall. Timber lintels are present throughout.
Inside the older range, there is a single ground floor room with a large fireplace beam and a joisted ceiling. The foot of one curved roof truss is visible, although it is papered over on the front wall.
