Description
Myrtle House is a two-storey house built from rubble stone, featuring a close-eaved slate roof and stone end stacks made of squared grey stone. The front has three windows, each with 12-pane hornless sashes that are adorned with rough stone voussoirs and cut stone keystones. The central door is a six-panel design with an overlight made up of seven small panes, and it has a similar head to the windows. The left end wall is windowless.
To the right, there is a lower service range that shows remnants of whitewash, topped with a close-eaved imitation slate roof and a large square roughcast right end stack, which has been raised with a narrower shaft in the 20th century. Each floor of this range features a small six-pane centre casement window, and there is a half-glazed door to the left, both of which have stone voussoirs. The end wall is also windowless, and there is an outshut at the rear. The building was not seen during the time of the resurvey.
