Description
This is an outbuilding located on the south side of the yard at Dan-y-graig, constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with an asbestos sheet roof, except for the right end, which is a loose-box or stable that retains its original slate roof. The building features brick heads above its openings. The cow-house section has two doors set in deep reveals, with a blocked centre door now converted into an 8-pane window, and a 6-pane window next to the right door, likely also from a former door. The right end of the building has a single door situated between two windows with slate sills, and there is an additional window in the right end wall.
There is evidence on the rear wall indicating that the roof has been raised. The cow-house includes a rear feed passage and 11 collar trusses, along with three windows in the rear wall. There is a dividing wall leading to the right end section, which contains three trusses.
