Description
This is an outbuilding located on the north side of the yard at Dan-y-graig, listed as Grade II. It is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features an undulating old slate roof. The openings have cambered red brick heads. The barn on the right has a relatively low opening with boarded doors and a vent loop to the right. The stable section has two doors and a small loft opening under the eaves in between. The cart entry arch is more rounded and has board doors, with two tiers of red brick dove-openings above that include slate shelves. There is a red brick stack on the wall face to the left.
At the western end wall, there is an attached pair of pigsties that are set back, featuring an asbestos sheet roof and a single timber lintel over low entries. There are two small walled yards, with the left yard being larger. Inside the stable loft, there are pine joists. The chimney on the left is said to have been for a brewhouse that served the pigsties.
