Description
The cowhouse at Cilgynydd is an outbuilding constructed from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It is a long, single-storey structure that features an added corrugated iron lean-to which obscures the center of the building. On the left side, there are four doors with stone voussoirs above them, followed by a blank wall that also has an added corrugated iron lean-to. To the right, there is a lofted section that includes a cross-window on each side of a door, with stone voussoirs above the door and windows. The windows consist of 4x4 panes, with the right window having boarded shutters on the lower half. There are outside steps at the right end leading up to a loft door that has a stone lintel above it. Additionally, there is a lean-to on the left end wall.
