Description
Cwmffernol is a two-storey building constructed from rubble stone, which is rendered and whitewashed, except for the rear wing. It features old slate roofs and has three window bays. The entrance consists of a 20th-century boarded door that is slightly offset to the left of the center. Above this door, there is a 9-pane single sash window, and to the left on both floors, there are additional sash windows. The windows to the right of the entrance have been replaced with paned uPVC in their original openings. The building has gable stacks, with the one on the right likely being a later addition.
To the west, on the uphill side, there is a short single-storey farm building that aligns with Cwmffernol and features a boarded door. The wide-gabled rear wing has a single bay with a ground floor and attic, and it includes uPVC windows and a door with fixed glazing, as well as a gable end stack. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection.
