Description
This is a cast iron distance marker in a triangular shape, open at the back. The sides slope back towards a gabled top plate, which features raised lettering in a bold Roman typeface. The lettering is set in a curve and reads "ABERDOVEY 5." On the left side, there is similar raised lettering that reads "TOWYN," also set in a curve, with the number "9" within the arc. On the right side, the marker displays "MACHYNLLETH / 5."
