Description

This is a cast iron mile marker featuring a shaft with an open-backed triangular section. The base is bracketed and has bead edge strengthening. The shaft widens towards the top, which has a splayed top gusset. Each side of the upper part displays raised sans-serif lettering, with "TOWYN / 3" on the left side and "DOLGELLEY / 17" on the right side.
