Description

The haybarn at Geufron is a Grade II listed structure built from small slate rubble laid in lime, topped with a slate roof. It features three bays and tall rectangular piers situated between the end gable walls. The north gable wall includes a pitching opening, while the south gable end wall has five slit vents.

Inside, the barn has softwood tie beam trusses with raking struts that support two tiers of purlins. The underside of the roof is torched, and vertical iron bolts secure the foot of each principal rafter to the tie beam.
