Description

The hay barn at Bodgarad is a 3-bay gable-ended structure. It features four square rubblestone piers supporting each of the long sides. The barn has a slate roof with bargeboards at the slightly projecting verges. The apex of the gable ends and one of the long sides are infilled with 20th-century timber slatting, while there is also 20th-century boarding and tin cladding. Inside, the roof is supported by king-post trusses with lime torching between the rafters and single purlins.
