Description
Rhosgadfan House is a cottage dating from the 19th century. It has a single-storey, two-room layout that runs roughly from north-east to south-west, featuring a small catslide outshut at the rear on the left side. The exterior is made of roughly coursed limestone rubble, with significant areas of limewash still visible on the front wall. The roof is covered with graded slate and is grouted at the rear.
There are windows on either side of an offset entrance that features a stable door, with a small rooflight positioned directly above it. The cottage has substantial integral end stacks with slate drips. The rear wall remains unbroken, and there is a later lean-to with a tin roof attached to the left gable end. Inside, the cottage has been modified into one room, revealing an exposed A-frame truss.
