Description

White Cottage is a cottage dating from around the mid 19th century. It features whitewashed stone rubble walls and a gable-ended slate roof, with a brick stack located at the left-hand end. The building has a 2-room plan, likely with a very small service room to the right that has an entry in the end wall. At the rear, there is a courtyard with a later range. The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with two windows. Each floor has a 2-light small-paned casement window from the 19th century. The right-hand end wall is splayed with a rounded corner, a small light, and a 20th-century plank door. The interior has not been inspected.
