Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features partly rendered rubble that is brought to course, with painted stone dressings and a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a double front. The central entrance has a plain surround and a 20th-century door. There are two windows on each storey, all of which are 2-light flat faced mullioned windows with 4-pane casements. The right-hand gable end has a ridge stack, and there is a ridge stack at the former left-hand gable, which is now at the junction with a 19th-century barn.
