Description
Goosmire Height Farmhouse is a house, probably dating from the late 17th century. It is built of slobbered rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. There is a doorway between the first two bays, featuring a chamfer that extends outside the segmental head. The three ground floor windows have hoodmoulds but have been altered; they were originally double chamfered and had four lights (now three), six lights (now two) with a king mullion, and three or four lights, which have been replaced with a single modern light. The first floor windows have also been altered and now consist of two lights each. The gables have coping and kneelers, and there are three stacks. Inside, there are two 17th-century doors, one of which has seven panels, located at the eastern end of the house, and one bedroom features two walls of 17th-century panelling.
