Description
Halton Place features walls to the kitchen garden that date from the late 18th century and early 19th century. The walls are constructed of squared stone and brick, with the easternmost wall made of stone. There is a segmental arch leading into the kitchen garden, which has a coat of arms above it on a Rococo shield. To the left of the arch, there is a reclining whippet on the parapet, which then drops in a series of steps that resemble a Dutch gable. The westernmost wall, made of brick, is similar but consists of two different builds. It has a flat-headed entrance, a reclining whippet, and a similar stepped parapet. The northern ends of these walls connect to the estate outbuildings.
