Description

This is a cast iron mile marker that features a shaft with an open-backed triangular section, which is now partly buried. At the base, it has a bracket with bead edge strengthening. The shaft widens towards the top, which has a splayed top gusset. Each side of the upper part displays raised sans-serif lettering, with "DOLGELLEY / 16" on the right side and "TOWYN / 4" on the left side.
