Description
Pont Pennal is a bridge built from local hard-grained rubble stonework. It features an elliptical arch made of regular rubble voussoirs that spans approximately 6.4 meters and is capped with a regulating course. The arch rises from water level to a center height of about 1.8 meters above the water. At the base of the parapet, there is a slightly arched string that extends outward at the ends to form half-piers. The carriageway measures 5.25 meters in width between the flush parapets, which are 0.55 meters high.
