Description

Pont Gyfyng is a bridge made from local rubble stonework, featuring two segmental arches that span approximately 5.6 meters. These arches rest on a central rough stone cutwater, with each arch constructed of shaped rubble voussoirs that rise to 2.6 meters and are set flush with the spandrels. A string course supports the slightly protruding parapet made of thin slate, which may indicate a rebuilding. The road width measures 2.83 meters between the 48-centimeter parapets.
