Description
Pont Llanfihangel, also known as Pont Llan, is a Grade II listed bridge. It features a segmental arch made of irregular flush rubble voussoirs on the north side, spanning approximately 6.5 meters. The south side is constructed with packed slate set back below a regulating course, with the springings raised high on vertical stone abutments that include projecting stones for centering. The spandrels are flush with the parapet, which is topped with a stone-on-edge coping that follows the road's line. The arch rises to 3.35 meters above the water level, and the road width between the parapets is 3.8 meters, with each parapet measuring 0.45 meters wide. On the west side, the causeway continues over the narrow valley at an elevated level and includes three square-headed flood openings.
