Description
Pont Ffynnon-gadfa is a bridge that forms part of a long stone-built raised causeway, which is approximately 94 meters in length, situated over marshy ground alongside the river. The bridge is constructed from local rubble stone and features a simple segmental arch made of rubble voussoirs that spring from low abutments. The arch spans 4.8 meters and rises 2.4 meters above the water. It has flush parapets on either side of the 5.45-meter wide carriageway, which is at an elevation of 62 meters above sea level, and the road curves to the south as it enters the Llannor community at its western end.
