Description
Pont Twllaran is a bridge constructed of rubble stonework. It features a single segmental arch that spans approximately 7.2 meters between low abutments over the Afon Merddwr. The arch consists of a single ring of voussoirs that are set back under a projecting regulating course and does not have a central keystone. The arch is positioned 2.77 meters above the water level. The bridge has flush spandrels and a parapet that bends outwards at the ends, terminating in square piers. The stone copings are also flush. The carriageway is humped and measures 4.5 meters in width between the 0.5-meter thick parapets.
