Description

Pont-yr-odyn is a bridge that carries the Nebo Road over a northern tributary of the Afon Merddwr. It features a single semicircular arch that spans 6.7 meters, constructed with recessed rubble voussoirs and a projecting regulating course that is flush with the spandrels and parapets above. The parapets are curved in plan and have flush stone copings, ending in square piers. The soffit of the arch is 3.1 meters above the water, and the carriageway measures 5.4 meters between the parapets, which are 0.45 meters wide.
