Description
Bank House, located at 1 and 2 Nebo Road, is a pair of estate cottages built in 1845. The cottages are constructed from dark stone rubble, featuring large unshaped stone quoins and slate roofs. They are one storey with an attic, each cottage having two bays. The outer bay is gabled and contains the entrance, which features a framed and battened door set within an open-fronted slate porch with a pent roof. The cottages have timber casement windows, with the inner ground floor bay windows slightly canted under a projecting stone capping and sill. The ground floor living room has three-light windows, while the first floor bedrooms have two-light windows. A central stack with independent flues and a moulded cap is present, along with a date panel reading 1845 at the base.
