Description
Pont Pentre'r foelas is a bridge constructed of rubble stonework. It features a single segmental arch that spans approximately 8.4 meters over the Afon Merddwr. The arch consists of a single ring of voussoirs, each 0.5 meters deep, topped by a projecting regulating course that rises to a central keystone 2.65 meters above the water level. The spandrels are flush, and there is a plat band at the base of the parapet, which terminates in square piers. The copings are flush and bear a roughly cut graffito that reads "RO 1782." The carriageway is slightly humped and measures 6.05 meters in width between the 0.5-meter thick parapets. The abutments of the bridge are battered outwards.
