Description

Pont Brynkir is a bridge constructed from local uncoursed rubble stone, spanning a tributary of the Afon Dwyfor. It features an 8.2-meter wide segmental span made of flush rubble voussoirs that rise 2.05 meters above the water. On the south side, there is a secondary half-round flood arch. The bridge has flush spandrels and parapets that are finished with rough block copings. The parapets widen at the ends to form terminal half-piers topped with monolithic capstones. The carriageway measures 3.4 meters in width between the 0.5-meter high parapets.
