Description
The stable building at Cernioge is a two-storey structure built in the 19th century, designed in a Gothick style using local stone rubble and featuring a hipped slate roof. It has two bays and a lean-to at the rear, with an external stair at the south end providing access to the upper floor. The front includes two stable doors topped with blind pointed arches made of timber, which have 'Y'-glazing bars, although one has been replaced with cement. There is also a window, which was formerly a door, designed in a similar Gothick style. The upper floor, originally a hay loft, has had its fenestration altered and now features two ventilated windows. Additionally, there is a single-storey, one-bay extension at the north end. Inside, the building is divided into two animal pens, each featuring a continuous arcade of blind arches at the manger level along the rear wall.
