Description

The stable building at Abercynrig is constructed of rubble stone and features a slate roof. The front wall facing the yard includes three renewed windows: two 12-pane hopper windows and one fixed 9-pane window, all adorned with stone voussoirs and thin stone sills. The middle window was originally a door. The right end wall, which faces the yard entry, has a door with an overlight located to the left of centre, along with a central loft door. There is a large lean-to addition on the left end, which has a low-pitched slate roof. The rear wall is windowless. Inside, there are wooden stalls.
