Description

This is a stone-lined culvert that carries the Brynich stream underneath the Brecon and Abergavenny Canal. It features a segmental arch at the southern end, constructed with cut stone voussoirs. Above the arch, there is a low retaining wall made of squared stone. The culvert is flanked by splayed stone retaining walls on each side.
