Description
Canal Bridge No 163 and Cefn Brynich Lock Chamber is a canal bridge and lock chamber made of squared rubble stone. The bridge features a segmental arch with tooled stone voussoirs, which spring from the higher walls of the lock. The rubble stone parapet slopes with the roadway, and there is an iron plaque marked "163" on the east side. The lock has side walls constructed of squared stone, topped with heavy squared stone copings.
