Description

Pont Ysgubor Newydd is a small double-arched single lane bridge made of rubble stone. It features a central triangular cutwater on each face, constructed from tooled squared stone, which supports a raised pier with a sloping top. The bridge has segmental arches that are formed with tooled stone voussoirs, raised keystones, and thin arch rings. The flat rubble parapet is topped with slate coping slabs. The southwest parapet curves outward, while the other ends are stopped at the raised pier on the outside face.
