Description

Pont Clywedog is a rubble stone road bridge featuring three spans and shallow round arches. The arches are constructed with squared stone voussoirs set in recessed arch rings. There are cutwaters on each side between the west and center spans, with the cutwater on the north side extending to full height to serve as a pedestrian refuge. A raised stepped pier is located between the center and east arches. The bridge has plain rubble parapets topped with rough stones as coping.
