Description
Lock Road Bridge is a road bridge that spans the river Usk. It is constructed of rubble stone and features four elliptical recessed arches, which are supported by stone voussoirs. These arches are separated by full-height cutwaters that include pedestrian refuges. Notably, the southern arch is lower than the other three. The cutwaters are slightly stepped and consist of three tiers, with the bottom tier made of squared stonework. Additionally, there is a square drainage hole from the roadway located over the crown of each arch.
