Description

Canal Bridge No 161, part of the Brecon & Abergavenny Canal, is a bridge made of squared rubble stone. It features a broad elliptical arch constructed with stone voussoirs. The bridge has a humped parapet with stone copings and square end piers. The arch is notably broad and shallow, and it appears to have sunk, which has been addressed with iron reinforcing.
