Description

The building is a former barn, now functioning as a restaurant and accommodation, located at Brynich Caravan Park. It is aligned on a north-south axis and features two wings of outbuildings that were originally used for animals, carts, and storage, positioned at right angles to the barn on its east side. The structure is built with stone rubble walls and has slate roofs. The barn consists of ten bays and includes two former wagon entries on each long side, each with canopies above. There are ventilator slits along the long elevations and square ventilators in the south gable end. On the west side, the roof slopes down to create a porch.

To the north of the south wagon entry on the east side of the barn, there is a long wing of outbuildings that used to serve as animal and cart sheds on the ground floor, with a hay loft above. This wing features sprocketed eaves and slate roofs, along with an external stone staircase leading to the loft entry at the east gable end. The south elevation has two former cartshed entrances, which are now glazed, at the east end with wide curved-headed doorways, as well as three narrower doorways and six square loft openings.

To the north of the north wagon entry on the east side of the barn, there is a shorter wing of outbuildings that is similar in design. A large modern shed located at the northwest angle of the barn is not included in this description.
