Description
Gelynis Farm-range is a long building that features a barn in the center, with an attached former byre on the right and a store on the left. The structure is made of stone rubble with some brick details, and it has a Welsh slate roof on the left end unit, while the barn and byre have a replaced concrete tile roof. The barn includes a tall cambered-arched doorway with voussoirs, ventilation slits, a low arched cart bay on the left end, and two smaller cambered arched doors on the right end, each with rectangular ventilators above. The attached former byre on the right has cambered arched openings with brick dressings and a loft above. The left unit has been altered to include inserted doors and windows with brick dressings, and there are stairs leading to the loft parallel to the front. A cobbled drive leads to the front of the building.
Inside the barn, the roof has been replaced with new timbers, and there are wooden lintels above the openings, along with enclosed ground floor rooms at each end. The former byre also has a replaced roof, remnants of concrete stalls and mangers, and remains of the floor for the hay-loft.
