Description
This is a linked range of farm buildings dating from the early 19th century, consisting of several structures with later alterations. The buildings are made of squared rubble with stone dressings and have Welsh slate roofs.
On the left side of the farmhouse, there is a two-storey, four-bay barn that has been converted into loose boxes and a byre. It features two boarded doors with alternating jambs, an off-centre loading door on the first floor, several blocked openings, and a low-pitched roof. Adjacent to this barn is a single-storey, three-bay byre, which has two blocked segmental arches, a partly-blocked doorway with alternating jambs, and a low-pitched roof.
At right angles to the left return of the byre is a former threshing barn. This barn has flush quoins, wide opposed doorways with alternating jambs, and two rows of breathers on three sides, topped with a low-pitched hipped roof. There is a 20th-century addition with a pent roof at the front of the barn near the farmhouse, but this is not of special interest. The buildings are included for their group value.
