Description
The former granary south of Lynnshield Farmhouse is a late 18th-century building now used as a workshop and storage space. It is constructed from squared rubble with a stone-flagged roof and has two storeys and three bays. The ground floor on the left bay is built into the bankside, and the building features squared quoins. There is a pair of boarded doors on the right side, and a first-floor doorway on the left return that is accessed directly from the bankside. At the rear, there is a 9-pane fixed light. Inside, there is a large stone fireplace with a mantel supported by corbelled-out jambs against the right gable end. The building is included for its group value.
