STANHOPE A689 (North side) NY 93 NW Westgate 19/133 Barn and byre north of Old Park farmhouse GV II

Barn and byre. Late C18. Coursed squared sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings; roofs of Welsh slate and stone flags. Barn one high storey, 5 bays. byre two low storeys, 3 bays with right pent extension. Barn has 4 full-height piers; openings between, one partly blocked except for empty right bay. Byre has central boarded door in stone surround; flanking small windows under rough stone lintels; small left opening over. Welsh slate roof on barn and pent right extension; stone-flagged byre roof.
