Description
The barn and stable range located to the east of Park House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farm building consisting of two sections. It is constructed from coursed roughly-squared rubble and features a stone-flagged roof with red ridge tiles. The structure is two storeys high, with a four-bay stable on the left and a three-bay barn on the right, both under a continuous roof. There is a one-bay pent extension on the right side.
The stable includes three Dutch doors and four small windows that are irregularly spaced on the ground floor, along with a single light window above on the right. The barn features a boarded door in a plain stone surround near the right side, as well as a similar loading door above. On the ground floor, there are two small fixed lights and two larger inserted windows with opening transom lights, along with vent slits above. The extension has a boarded door beneath a half-slatted window.
This building is included for its group value.
