Description
The building at Bryngwdion is a rectangular plan structure dating from the 19th century, consisting of a longer section on the right (west) that serves as a hay barn and a shorter section on the left (east) that contains stables. It is constructed from roughly coursed boulder rubble, with a graded slate roof over the stables and an asbestos sheeting roof over the barn. The barn and stables are separated by a slight break in the roof slope, although the front wall remains continuous.
On the north elevation facing the yard, there is a stable door located in the center of the stable section. To the left of this, the barn features a wide segmental-headed doorway, which is flanked by small windows. There is also a further boarded door to the right of center and two eaves hatches. The west gable end includes a boarded door at the upper level, which is accessed by stone steps, and there is a lean-to structure in the angle on the yard side. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
