Description
Eithinog-uchaf is a building constructed of roughly coursed rubblestone, with a roughcast finish on the right gable end. It features a slate roof that has integral end stacks and coped verges on the right side. The building is two storeys high and has a double-pile plan. The front has three windows, with four-paned sashes that are smaller on the first floor. The ground-floor windows have been replaced by late 20th-century top-hung casements.
There is a central entrance that leads through a gabled porch, which includes four-paned sashes on the side walls and an inner 20th-century four-panel door. Inside, the left ground-floor room has a slate lintel above an altered fireplace, which bears the inscription "H.M. Williams/ AD1825" on an incised keystone, along with incised medallion decoration. The central staircase features stick balusters and a turned newel, which may have been a later 19th-century alteration.
