Description
The building at Eithinog-uchaf is a cowhouse and granary, along with pigsties, constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone and topped with slate roofs. The cowhouse and granary features slate slabs on the front slope. It has two doorways at the front, alternating with three small multi-paned and ventilated windows, all of which have stone lintels. There are ventilation slits to the left of center and to the right, although the latter is blocked. A set of stone steps with a retaining wall on the right gable end leads to a boarded door. Additionally, there are small rooflights at the front and back that illuminate the loft at this end.
Behind the cowhouse are the pigsties, which are larger and positioned at right angles, featuring a gable-ended roof and three pens. There is also a smaller lean-to type pigsty, which is free-standing and has two pens. The loft at the right end contains corn bins and an A-frame truss.
