Description
Pont-y-cim is a bridge built of local stone rubble, featuring a single arch that spans 6.6 meters and rises 2.3 meters above the water. The arch is constructed with well-shaped voussoirs set back under a regulating course, and it has a low flush parapet made of unshaped stones placed on end, which rises in straight sections to an off-centre peak. The carriageway measures 2.1 meters in width, with additional parapets that are 40 centimeters wide. On the downstream side at the southern end, there is a poorly lettered stone panel that bears the inscription "CATRING BWKLE HA / TH GIVE 20 POVNDS / TO MACK THIS BRIDGE / 1612." At the northern end, the approach to the causeway includes two small square flood culverts.
