Description
Brynaerau uchaf is a building constructed of stone rubble on boulder foundations, painted white. It features a renewed slate roof that has replaced the original thatch, along with cement copings and gable stacks. The building has one storey and an attic. A central open gabled porch with a round external arch leads to a boarded door that has two small glazed lights. On either side of the doorway, there are two and three-light stained wood windows set deeply into the walls. The attic includes two small windows that break the eaves line, each with cat-slide roofs. The gable stacks have an added brick flue at the eastern end, and there is a small square window in the western gable end. Additionally, there are doors at the rear and a lean-to that has been added under an extension of the roof. The building was not accessible at the time of inspection.
