Description
Bryngwdion is a 2-storey building from the 19th century, designed in a T-plan layout. It features a symmetrical entrance range with three bays, oriented east-west and facing north, along with an equal-height range extending at right angles to the rear. The exterior is constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone and topped with a slate roof.
The entrance front displays three 4-paned sash windows with slate cills positioned directly below the eaves. To the left of the central entrance, which consists of a 4-panel door with glazed top panels, there is a 6-paned sash window, and to the right, a 4-paned sash window. The right gable end includes a small 4-paned casement window on the first floor and a 20th-century 2-light window on the ground floor.
On the back wall, there is a single casement window with a horizontal glazing bar on the first floor, and to the right of the rear range, a small 4-paned sash window on the ground floor. The east side of the rear range has two sash windows just below the eaves: a 12-paned sash window on the left (unhorned) and a 4-paned sash window on the right. The ground floor features paired 8-paned sash windows to the left and a gabled porch to the right, which has a brick round-headed outer arch and an inner boarded door beneath a narrow overlight. The left gable end has an integral stack and a 20th-century window on the first floor, along with a 4-paned sash window on the ground floor.
There is also a single-storey lean-to addition, possibly a dairy, located on the west side. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
