Description
The stables and coach house at Bryn Eglwys are a Grade II listed building, featuring a long rectangular plan divided into two sections, with the left section being taller than the right. The exterior is made of painted rubblestone and topped with slate roofs that have slate-coped verges.
The left section includes a boarded door and a 12-paned sash window on the left side, as well as boarded double doors on the right. Between these doorways, there is an eaves hatch with a shallow lean-to roof. A late 20th-century roller shutter door has been added to the left gable end.
The lower section, which is attached to the right gable end, has boarded doors positioned at the far left and offset to the right. To the right of the first door is a small casement window, and to the right of the second door is a 4-paned sash window, both featuring slate cills. Additionally, there is a small gabled dormer on the left side, a painted brick stack on the front wall, and a small integral end stack on the right.
The building was not inspected at the time of the survey.
