Description
Bryn Eden is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a roughly L-shaped plan that includes a lower service range attached to the short side of the L. The exterior is made of rendered rubblestone, or possibly brick, with rendered quoins and dripstones, topped by a hipped slate roof with deep eaves. The main elevation faces north-west and includes a three-window front with recessed sashes under dripstones; the first floor has 9 panes, while the ground floor has 12 panes. There is a central flat-roofed porch.
Above the outer windows, there are two lead-capped round-arched dormers at the bottom of the roof slope and wide integral end stacks. The right side of the building, which forms the south-west wall of the rear range, has two 9-paned sashes on the first floor and a gabled dormer in the roof slope, along with an integral end stack at the gable. The north-east wall of this range features a boarded door to the left and a sash window to the right on both the ground and first floors, with a dormer directly above. The service range has 20th-century windows.
In front of the house, there is a terrace retained by a rubblestone revetment wall, which is topped by a decorative-arched terracotta balustrade. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
