Description
The coach-house and stable at Bryn Hyfryd is a two-storey building constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a slate close-eaved roof that features slate verge detail. On the upper floor, there is a casement window to the right, positioned at eaves height. The ground floor includes a depressed-arched coach entry on the left, which has board doors mounted on strap hinges. Next to this entrance, there is a small four-pane casement window and a square-headed doorway that leads to a stable, featuring a board door. The vehicle entrance and the small window are accented with brick voussoirs. On the left gable end, a stone flight of eight rendered steps leads up to a square-headed loft doorway, which also has brick voussoirs and a board door. Additionally, there are four rows of dove-holes with slate shelves in the gable.
