Description
Rhydgaled is a two-storey house constructed of rubble stone, which was formerly whitewashed, and features a slate roof with stone chimneys at each end. The front has three windows, with 9-pane hornless sashes on the first floor and 12-pane sashes on the ground floor, flanking a boarded door. The ground-floor openings are accented with stone voussoirs, and the right-hand sash includes horns. The upper windows are positioned under the eaves. On the right end wall, there is a six-pane casement window located on the upper floor to the left. To the right, there is a single-storey outbuilding set back, and a lean-to has been added at the rear. Inside, the house features beamed ceilings and simple collared roof trusses, although some modern alterations have been made.
